The worktops/countertops are approx 6" and 12" lengths x 2 1/8 inch deep, i.e. the width needed to sit on your base units with a front over hang of 1/8 of an inch. They are 1/8th of an inch thick.

You can cut them to the length of your kitchen run using the recommended method, either a craft knife or a saw.

An overhang of 1/8 inch on the free end kitchen base units is recommended.

Please be aware that colours may vary from the pictures as we can't control what we receive from our suppliers, and computer monitors can influence the appearance of the wood on the photo.

They are available in the following types of wood :-

Basswood - Suitable if you wish to use wood dye, paint your own faux-marble effect, or cover with film.  These tops are easy to cut with a craft knife.

Jelutong - This wood gives a beautiful light golden finish, and is easy to cut with a craft knife. We suggest finishing with a good wax polish.

Walnut - This wood is very hard, but can be cut with a regular razor saw, or a sharp craft knife (will need several passes) and a fret saw (preferably electric) for cutting holes.

Spruce - This is a softwood with a long visible grain. It will give an expensive wood appearance to your worktops and will be best finished with a good wax polish.
